Letters to customers about changes from 05/01/21

A letter is sent to all customers of Ferde AS - Flyt about two changes in your AutoPASS agreement.

New contract terms and transition to Flyt AS.

You are receiving this letter due to two changes to your AutoPASS agreement. Firstly, changes have been made to the terms of the agreement and secondly, your AutoPASS agreement is transferred from Ferde AS to Flyt AS. Both changes take effect on 01.05.2021. You do not need to do anything to maintain your AutoPASS agreement.

1. Changes to the terms of your AutoPASS agreement

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration has changed the terms of the agreement for the AutoPASS agreement in accordance with clause 4.2 of the agreement. The updated terms and conditions of the AutoPASS agreement can be found here (Norwegian only). These terms and conditions replace all previous terms and conditions.

The most important changes in the terms and conditions of the AutoPASS agreement are:

  • When signing a new agreement, this will normally be valid one to five working days after the agreement has been signed. This is because it can take a few days before the agreement and the AutoPASS tag are active in all toll stations in AutoPASS Samvirke.
  • In the event of a change of ownership of a vehicle, the contracting party is responsible for the accrued passage fee until notification of change of ownership has been received by Flyt, and the change of ownership has been registered with AutoPASS Samvirke. This applies regardless of whether passages are identified via the tag or by photographing the number plates when the vehicle is passing the toll booths. Normally it will take from one to five working days from a change of ownership is reported until this is registered in AutoPASS Samvirke.
  • Prepayment agreement text has been removed.

Continued use of the AutoPASS tag means accepting the terms of the agreement
By continuing to use your AutoPASS tag after May 1, 2021, you accept the updated terms. You do not have to do anything and your agreement is continued with Flyt AS. If you do not accept the new terms and conditions, you can terminate your AutoPASS agreement by visiting www.flytpass.no and My Site.

2. Your agreement is transferred from Ferde AS to Flyt AS

Flyt has been the tag issuer division in Ferde AS since February 2021. From 1 May 2021, the tag issuer division will be a separate limited company and this will be implemented to fulfill the authorities' toll reform. From this time on, Ferde AS will have no issuer business and will transfer your AutoPASS agreement to Flyt AS, in accordance with clause 4.3 of the agreement. Rights and obligations for the agreement will be the same.

As Flyt AS will take over all customer agreements with Ferde AS from 1 May 2021, this means that you will receive an invoice from Flyt AS, and Flyt will handle inquiries regarding your agreement. You will still find an overview of passages on the AutoPASS My Page.
